Of COURSE it’s possible to lose weight eating everything you want

Of COURSE it’s possible to lose weight eating everything you want.

Dunkin Donuts bear claw YUM! 700 calories

Dunkin Donuts bear claw YUM! 700 calories

Yep, really. (Don’t miss the end for the magic).

.

Yes, I decided to write you an article to go with the flow of eating like sh1t, and being able to lose the weight at the same time. I mean, why fight the flow of what you want to do, right?

.

Cause it is possible.

.

“Annette, you mean pizza, corn dogs, nachos, beer, chips, dips, prime rib, mashed potatoes, banana crème pie, sourdough bread, chocolate truffles, chili dogs, pasta, cheeze-its, liquor, salad dressing, pudding, all the toppings at the yogurt shoppe, captain crunch cereal grabbed out of the box and frosting spooned out of the container, the wine, cheese, taco bell and cold stone?”

YES.

Carl’s Jr. single pulled pork burger…saucy! 830 calories

“Okay, seriously I can drop weight eating anything I want? ANYTHING?”

Yes.

“Okay Annette I’ll bite, so what’s the catch?”

The catch is knowing what you’re putting in your mouth and what you’re spending out:

Counting calories in & calories out

(And even if you HATE counting calories, this can still work for you! Stay tuned, I’ll tell you after the magic)

It’s pretty simple if you think about it and in only 3 steps: decide, know and keep track.

  1. To keep track of the action you can compare it to the amount of money you spend on one evening out for 2, a month’s worth of Starbucks or 2 weeks of eating out. This means investing in the Polar Heart Rate monitor FT-7.  <– Click the link. Yeah, keep track of just how hard you are working when you exercise. (Calories out). Know that when you take that Zumba class or stroll on the beach or take a cycle class you know just how many calories you burned through.
  2. For FREE you can know how to act. Knowing how many calories are in the half-a-pack of salami, Havarti cheese and 2 bottles of wine and input them into your My Fitness Pal account. <– Click this link. Yeah, keep track of the cheese and crackers, 3 pieces of cake and Doritos you ate. (For the amount of time it takes to input a few numbers, you could have sent 5 text messages and posted 3 things on Facebook. And we know those 2 things take seconds.)
  3. And to decide to act is the only thing to choose to do. You just got to make a decision to do it. (Changing your mind takes a split of a split second)

The step 1 and 2 will automatically follow the behavior of making that #1 decision.

And now here’s the magic, I’ll use Costco food court because it’s quick, easy, inexpensive and for many, a “go-to” for cheap, yummy food:

1 slice food court pizza! Sllllllllllllllllllllurp!

1 slice food court pizza! Sllllllllllllllllllllurp!

  • 1 slice pepperoni pizza: 620 calories
  • One 32oz. coke: 310 calories

.

TOTAL: 930 calories in one meal AWESOME!! (Of course if you generally get 2 slices, add the calories in to make 1550.) Don’t forget now, you’ll be eating more throughout the day so be sure to add that count to your My Fitness Pal account.

.

Polar Heart Rate monitor FT-60

Magic #2: You burned 310 calories in the hour in Zumba or 1320 in both one hour of Body Pump and 60 minutes of Body Combat class. You know this because you have your Polar Heart Rate monitor FT-60 counting your calories out for you and you input your calories in and calories out in your My Fitness Pal account.

My Fitness Pal takes care of the rest for you! It’ll tell you how many calories you have to spend each day, how many more you can eat and how many more you need to eat to meet your eat-whatever-I-want-and-lose-weight goals and it adjusts itself when you exercise—to give you more food!

So if your My Fitness Pal account has you to eat 1700 calories per day while losing 1.5 lbs. per week, all you numbers get adjusted according to the exercise calories you burn—all by itself! my fitness pal

Example:

Calories per day to lose 1.5 lbs. a week: 1700

Costco meal calories: 930

Calories left for the day: 770!

And depending on how many calories you burn during exercise for that day will determine the new calorie count for the day. My Fitness Pal does it all for you!

All you have to know is what you’re putting in and putting out.

WHETHER YOU ARE PUTTING IN THE UNHEALTHY FOODS OR CLEAN-EATING FOODS.

It doesn’t matter-a calorie is a calorie, it’s going to burn, and simply stay within your calorie count.

And even if you HATE counting calories, this can still work for you! How? Well every frozen box of food, dry box of food, plastic package and most bottles and cans you purchase have a barcode you can scan in a flash and they also have total calorie counts on the box for you! Scan it, or look for the already-done-for-you calorie count on the box an input it! You don’t have to count anything.

Now I cannot leave you without saying this: you may feel like crap should you choose to lose weight eating all the fried, saucy, cheesy, salty, creamy, fatty foods, (just cause they make one sluggish, lethargic and without energy but hey- -that’s what four, 5-hour energy shots per day are for, right?) And you may incur a variety of diseases because of this particular choice…..but you will lose the weight as long as you count what’s going in and what’s going out

Don’t forget to count your alcohol calories-they matter too!

1 bottle of Robert Mondavi chardonnay (750ml or 25 ounces)= 5 servings = 475 calories. (Now go ahead and measure out 5 ounces you lushes. You probably pour 6-8 ounces per fishbowl glass BAHA!)

Either way you are taking care of your self in a way that will make you feel better about your Self. And changes will occur as you see them fit for your lifestyle and beliefs.

Happy eating,

Annette
