What kind of vitamins should I take?

Wouldn’t it be great to actually “know” the answer to this, or at the very least, some guidance?

.

Here’s the answer, it depends.    🙂

.

1. What is your age category?

2. How much sleep do you, or don’t you get?

3. What kind of stress do you engage in daily at and because of your job, home life, love or lack of love life?

4. Do you exercise?

5. Are you peri/menopausal?

6. Male over 40?

7. Is your diet rich in processed, comfort foods?

8. How often do you eat out making choices you fully know do not serve your body citing, “I’ll start better tomorrow,” and continually, tomorrow hasn’t come?

9. Do you skip meals and “forget” to eat during the day?

10. Is alcohol your food of choice?

.

And these are only a few of the things to know when choosing vitamin supplements that are “perfect” for you.

.

And let’s face it, many of you would be more than happy, and already take the mindset that “If I just take vitamins I’ll feel better about my eating habits, so I won’t really have to change anything about my food.” (Yes I understand). Okay so, you might as well know exactly what you need to keep you well, and have the best choices available, right?

.

Because of the line of work I chose there is a certain “presence” I exude, to the tune of “militant,” “loud,” “pushy,” “intimidating.” At least this is what has been shared with me, and it has gone both ways in that I “scare” people, or I’m the “Mexican Jillian” and they like it. I’ll take both.    🙂

.

But I want to share the true beginning of why I chose this profession, to encourage the building and tweaking of the physical body, from the ground up, from the inside out, to include the mental and emotional bodies we carry. I mean, we hear it all the time right: if you look good you feel good? Well what I have seen grown from that perspective is people spending, spending and spending on clothes, shoes, cars, homes, parties, Botox and lines of credit they cannot pay, and all this to “look” good, while leading directly to low self esteem, worry, looking for a mate to make them feel better about them Selves, weight gain, blaming others for their life. They can’t fill the hole in the middle of them. They have no love for their Self.   🙁

.

Well I see it different: “If you FEEL good you look good.”

.

And part if this is knowing what could work for you instead of wasting money on the 10 bottles of vitamins you do have, collecting dust in the medicine cabinet. (And they’re in there because although it may seem convenient, they aren’t important enough to be out where you can see them, with deliberate intent to take them. Seriously–where do you keep your booze? In a “special” etched glass-doored cabinet or dressed up area in the movie room, and you actually lock some up due to its “value,” right?) Hee!

.

Not sharing the great information with you, (to me), equates to stealing from you. Yes, this is how deeply I feel about what I do. In this spirit….

Of course I’d love to know you’re choosing to engage in one of the BEST vitamin supplements on the planet, great enough for Olympic athletes, (I’m going to click here to see who they are!), USANA vitamin supplements, but the point here is to know what your individual, special body needs.

.

I use the Health Pack vitamins –>

and Procosa II Optimizers.

.

.

96% pure product is what USANA provides, rather than the 96% “filled” product from the over-the-counter vitamins you’ll get–with good intentions–that become a collection–that gather dust.

.

I place my value in me, no apologies.

P.S. You say you don’t take vitamins because you can’t swallow pills? I get it. So, put em in the blender with your protein shakes; get a pill cutter and make them fit your needs. The point is to make it work for you, because you’re in it to FEEL good about yourself by taking great CARE of yourself. Weight loss, attitude, drive, commitment, discipline, hearing your crush say “yes” to go on that date with you, (literally) running an extra mile, fitting into the jeans that have been in the closet for 2 years, and confidently taking off your shirt on vacation….all side effects of how you feel on the inside.   😉
